Music Mondays | Said the Whale

{It’s Monday, and that means it’s time for Music for your Monday’s, a new weekly feature here on Snowbrains where we bring you a band or artist that we think deserves a spot on your skiing, riding, biking, whatever playlist.}

It’s another Monday, and it also happens to be Canada Day, and in turn this week we bring you Vancouver BC based artist Said The Whale. Classified as Indie Rock, Said the Whale has been making a name for themselves the past few years, touring Western Canada and the States and playing as festivals such as SXSW. With a smooth sound and insightful lyrics, Said the Whale makes for the perfect playlist to chill to.

Formed in Vancouver BC in 2007 by Ben Worcester and Tyler Bancroft, Said the Whale has seen much success right from the start. With a smooth enjoyable sound, Said the Whale wont disappoint,  so go ahead and check them out, and if you live on the West Coast check out one of the many shows this summer as they tour the States.
