Newry, Maine: Ho, ho, ho! Yesterday the slopes of Sunday River were decorated with 180 jolly Santa’s skiing and riding down the slopes. The spirit of the holiday season known as Santa Sunday is a charity fundraiser held every December at the resort. There were 180 Santa ‘s on hand to help support the 18th annual event which went on to raise close to $3,000 for a local charity.
“This is the right way to start the holiday season. It’s so much fun. This whole activity, it moves you back to your childhood”
