Squaw just announced that the 6-person Shirley Lake chair will be opening tomorrow, Saturday, December 21st, 2013. This is big news as thus far we’ve been relegated to two runs on Red Dog, one run on Squaw Creek, and one run on Gold Coast. We’ll be out there and let you know how it’s skiing.

Adding Shirley Lake this weekend will add one more chair and one more run. Thus increasing Squaw’s terrain by 25%. We’ll take it.
This addition should help alliveate holidays crowds that should start tomorrow. Squaw will be busy this holiday with only 5 runs open. That’s means it’ll be crazy crowded. There are literally only 5 runs open. No off-piste at all right now.
There is no snow in the forecast before New Years Day, but it should be nice and sunny and warm, at least.
