Shredder Ski School, a franchise corporation based in Boulder, Colorado, has just opened its first Dallas area location. While Dallas might not be the first place one associates with winter sports, the community boasts a strong affinity for skiing and snowboarding. Robert Lacey, a Vermont native and a ski enthusiast since the age of 6 is the driving force behind this ambitious venture. Having previously worked at the world renowned Killington Resort while in high school, he understands the transformative power of introducing children to these exhilarating outdoor activities at a young age. “I’m thrilled to launch a Shredder in Dallas, providing kids of diverse backgrounds the opportunity to experience skiing and snowboarding,” Lacey stated on the school’s site.
Shredder Ski School aims to recreate a similar environment to what one would experience at a traditional ski resort.
