Conditions Report
It’s finally feeling like February here at Sierra-at-Tahoe! Just when we were starting to sweat, Mother Nature pulled through and delivered three more inches of fluffy white powder overnight, putting us at a 24 hr snow total of 12 inches! If you missed out on yesterday’s dumping, you’re still in luck because we’re sitting on a total of 19 inches in the past week!
Expect wintery weather out there today with temps reaching high 20’s and variable winds. It’s gonna be cold, cold cold, with temps slightly rising in the afternoon, so layers will be the way to go today.
We’ll be ready to roll at 9 am, as usual, spinning 7 lifts + tows for access to 25 trails and 3 parks. While all this pow is super exciting, please keep in mind that it is very light and fluffy, so watch out for natural obstacles, stay out of trees/closures, and remember your trusty helmet before the ride. Keep in mind that chains are required on all highways leading to Sierra, and roads may still be covered from yesterday’s storm. Take it slow and respect your fellow commuters.
The day we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! Throwback Day is tomorrow, and it’s going to be the raddest day of the season!
