SilverStar Mountain Resort located in British Columbia is adding new glades for the upcoming season, which is scheduled to begin on November 28. The new terrain will be situated on SilverStar’s backside, according to a post on SilverStar’s Instagram page.

“NEW terrain ‘Dandy Glades’ is getting prepped on the backside, 20+ runs have been slashed, three snowcats will have lidar technology, terrain is getting mowed, signage around the mountain is getting updated, rails are getting a paint job, and lots more is happening behind the scenes,” SilverStar posted on its Instagram page on Saturday.

Eligible mountains include:

Although SilverStar is known for its family-friendly environment, it also has some serious terrain. The front side of the mountain is suited for beginners and intermediates, and the back side of the resort is geared toward experts. SilverStar boasts a great village, diverse dining options, and fewer crowds compared to some of the other ski resorts in the region. But the locals prefer that and hope it stays that way.
