Silverton Mountain in Colorado got hammered with snowfall this week—so much snow in fact that the entire region briefly lost power. That’s rare for Silverton, so you know it had to have been a big one.

The Silverton Ski Patrol was out Tuesday morning  “inspecting” the winter storm that dropped what appears to be super deep powder, getting their first turns of the 2021-22 season. Not bad for October 12.

And so it begins! Silverton will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

  1. I wonder how many will see this, get jazzed , go look for early season turns…and end their season early and painfully. But Silverton is rad bros with no culpability! Be a good example and dont Facebook or Instagram

  2. Happens every year! The social media is blowing up about the Wasatch snow but the base probably has 3 inches
