Ski Portillo will open its 2025 season on June 21, welcoming skiers and snowboarders to the Andes through September 27. The resort, located about two hours northeast of Santiago, is known for its high-altitude terrain, iconic yellow hotel, and views of Laguna del Inca.

Portillo offers a range of accommodations, including the Hotel Portillo, Octagon Lodge, Inca Lodge, and private chalets. Renovations are underway for the C Chalets, half of the Octagon Lodge rooms, and all Inca Lodge rooms, featuring updated interiors and modernized amenities.

The resort’s signature 7-day Ski Weeks include lodging, four daily meals, lift tickets, and access to resort amenities. Rates start at $3,050 for a Valley View room in Hotel Portillo, $2,050 for a quad-occupancy room in the Octagon Lodge, and $1,550 per person in the hostel-style Inca Lodge.

Several Olympic ski teams have confirmed training sessions at Portillo ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics. The resort has a history of hosting elite athletes, including the 1966 World Championships and the 1978 speed skiing trials.

Special weeks during the season include Wine Week (July 26–August 2), Wine Fest (August 23–30), and Friends Week (August 9–16). Families can take advantage of Kids Ski Free Weeks from June 21–July 19 and August 30–September 27, offering complimentary stays for children aged 4–11 with a paying adult.
