Ski Resorts In Canada Are In For Some Early Season Snowfall | Up To 17″ Of Snow Today – Monday

Some ski resorts in the western portion of Canada are in for some early season snowfall. Specifically, Banff Sunshine Village and Marmot Basin. The heaviest periods of snowfall are expected to occur Wednesday afternoon – Thursday morning.

Snow levels are expected to hover around the top of the mountain Today – Thursday. Then, they are forecasted to drop below Marmot Basin’s bottom lift Friday – Sunday, before gradually rising once again.

Abnormally cold temperatures and moderate precipitation are forecasted to impact the western portion of Canada Today – Monday. This is expected to result in some substantial snowfall accumulations throughout the area. The heaviest periods of snowfall are forecasted to occur Today – Thursday morning and on Saturday morning.
