Ski Resorts Still Open on USA’s East Coast

The first week of May is in the books, and for some ski resorts in the East, it was their last week of the 2025-26 season. It has been an incredible season in the East that featured many ski resorts opening earlier than ever, with great conditions throughout the whole season.

However, all good things come to an end — but fear not; there are still a few ski resorts that will be open in May.

Ski Resorts Still Open on the East Coast 

New Hampshire

New Jersey

Vermont:

  • Jay Peak Resort: May 17
  • Killington: Open as long as possible Friday through Sunday, plus Memorial Day, conditions permitting.

The window is closing fast for most of these resorts. If you’re planning a trip, call ahead or check resort websites before you go — several of the resorts below have moved to weekend-only operations. For anyone still chasing turns in the West, see our full list of ski resorts still open.
