“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.  Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” — Howard Thurman

Not everyone is privileged enough to ski even once in their lifetimes.

Thankfully there are good people out there like the ones working with SkiDUCK.

SkiDUCK is an entirely volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of financially disadvantaged, minority, and at-risk youth by teaching and sharing the joys of skiing and snowboarding.

Unfortunately, covid-19 ended last season early and is delaying their start this year. But they’re still hoping to get back on the slopes later this spring.

SnowBrains has partnered with SkiDUCK and we’ll be doing all we can to help them continue to do their great work.

If you, your family, or friends are looking for a worthy charity to support this holiday season you can share your love of skiing or snowboarding by making a donation to SkiDUCK here: https://skiduck.org/donate/

Each season SkiDUCK provides around 1,000 youths (ages 7-18) with nearly 2,000 FREE days of skiing and snowboarding; including free lift tickets, rentals, and lessons!

SkiDUCK’s home-base is Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows in beautiful North Lake Tahoe, CA.

“We’re committed to partnering with local organizations with similar goals of serving underprivileged youth. If your community or organization is interested in partnering with SkiDUCK to establish a program to introduce disadvantaged youth to the slopes, give us a QUACK!”  — SkiDUCK

SkiDUCK is completely volunteer-based, and any support in the ways of partnerships or donations will further their noble cause of getting more disadvantaged children onto the slopes.
