Yesterday morning we awoke to new snow in Courmayeur, Italy

We elected to start on the legendary Skyway Monte Bianco hoping for a bit of sunshine.

The mountains had other plans.

The upper mountain was socked in so we snuck out of the mid-station for a lower mountain lap.

We tried the Val Veny side to start and the skiing was deep dust on crust but still fun on a spiney, forested feature.

Back up.

Still foggy up high, our buddies who went to the top came back down in the tram.

We popped back out of the mid-station for a Val Ferret lap and it was a bit deeper but still hitting bottom most turns.

The Skyway Monte Bianco is just so impressive.

I even got to play a grand piano seconds before dropping into Val Ferret.

Beyond special.

After our 2 runs at Skyway we jumped over the fence to Courmayeur ski resort and got in 3 laps over there in good powder snow and a few less clouds.

Our friends skied Skyway today and said it was pretty fantastic up high (Feb 27, 2025).

Thanks so much, Italy!
