A 55-year-old German skier sustained a serious collarbone injury following a collision with an unidentified snowboarder on February 10, 2025, in the Skijuwel Alpbachtal Wildschรถnau ski area in Austria. The accident occurred around 11:50 a.m. on red slope No. 13, known as โWurmegg Abfahrt,โ approximately 250 meters (820 feet) above the mid-station of the connecting gondolas Verbindungsbahn I and II.

Both individuals fell as a result of the crash. However, after a brief verbal exchange, the snowboarder continued down the slope without providing personal details, leaving the injured skier behind. The skier received initial medical assistance from the slope rescue team before making her way to a doctorโs office in the valley, where she was diagnosed with a serious collarbone injury.
Authorities are now searching for the snowboarder, described as a woman around 20 years old, of normal stature, with long dark hair braided into a single plait. She was wearing a dark top and was riding a dark snowboard with white spots. Witnesses, as well as the snowboarder herself, are urged to contact the Kramsach Police Department at +43 59133 7213.
