Snow? Who needs snow to shred? Low Tide Sending From Squaw This Weekend

Words and skiing by Kyle Cota:

I awoke Saturday to blue skies and a fresh blanket of snow covering our mansion patio. After my butler Jeffery prepared us a marvelous breakfast it was obviously spa time! After a very relaxing message and tan I decided it was time to do a little schussing at Squaw Valley.

As you arrive at valet you can hear almost hear the cheers from the 1960 Olympics. As I walked through an empty village I had to decide which lift to begin my day. With no lift lines anywhere I choose the Funitel as my first ride.

I had a Funitel all to myself but was quickly disturbed by a wretched odor that smelled of dirty snowboarder and dare I say marijuana! Have no fear folks, as I have written several emails to KSL higher ups regarding this issue. After unloading the Funitel I skated over to Starbucks for one of my favorite lattes! Having caffeine running through my blood it was finally time for schussing.

I zipped up my Bogner jacket, wrapped my scarf around my neck, and enjoyed untouched corduroy down to the Siberia lift. Once atop Siberia I decided to do a little off piste skiing. It was untracked and most splendid! Following a couple laps of bottomless powder skiing I decided to head to an area called Mainline Pocket. Feeling strong and fresh from my spa treatment earlier I decided to make some turns in Squaw Valleys legendary steeps! Realizing I had a business meeting at one I had to call the day after three brilliant runs. Thanks Squaw for making my dreams a reality!
