Big changes are on the way for Washington in the next two days.  A storm system is approaching that will drop snow in the mountains tonight and tomorrow.  It won’t be long until a big storm spins out of the Gulf of Alaska and clobbers Washington’s Cascade and instantly turns on winter like a light switch.

NOAA Spokane:

The region will see significant changes over the next 48 hours as our next storm system approaches. Clouds will continue to increase as precipitation pushes ever closer, although it may take its time. Scattered showers over the Cascades (and even high mountain snow) will slowly push east through this evening.
