While most of the week will remain warm and dry, as we approach the weekend things start to get interesting. Up to 30″ of interesting…
A cold front will bring snow to the PNW on Thursday, dropping snow on Washington and Oregon and potentially a welcome few inches in California.
As the front moves east, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah will all see winter-like temperatures and decent snowfall.
How much snowfall, it’s a little too far out to predict, but Wolf Creek, the only resort currently open in Colorado, and other southern Colorado resorts could see up to 20-30″. Snow will begin Saturday afternoon and continue through Monday. The other Colorado resorts could see anything up to a foot of fresh snow, hopefully enough for some to start their lifts turning.
Utah should see a few inches accumulate at most resorts from Saturday through Monday. Winter’s coming, it’s time to get excited…
