For 13 years, SnowBrains has told you where the snow is. We’ve written the forecasts you check before work, covered the storms you chased, and argued with you in the comments about whether Revelstoke or Zermatt deserves your one precious ski week.
This winter, for the first time, we’re going together.
SnowBrains Trips launch in winter 2026-27: small hosted group trips to the mountains we love most, built by us, capped at around 20 people, and designed around the stuff you can’t book on your own. Think private guided days with certified local guides, welcome dinners where you meet 18 people who love skiing exactly as much as you do, venue takeovers in mountain towns, and a SnowBrains host on the ground the entire time making everything work.

I’ll be honest about why this is different from booking a package online. It’s not the hotel. It’s the access and the people. I’ve spent 21 years as a professional freeskier and 19 years as a certified mountain guide, and the guide network I’ve built over those decades is exactly who will be leading our mountain days. We’ve also partnered with a veteran ski travel operator who has spent more than a decade building trips to Revelstoke, the Dolomites, and Zermatt, and who has run group trips to those exact mountains for years. Between us, we know which hotel has the right bar, which guide knows the secret trees, and which week the crowds disappear.
But here’s the thing: you pick the destinations. We’re not going to guess what you want. We built a two-minute survey with 12 destinations on the ballot, from Revelstoke and Jackson Hole to Zermatt, the Dolomites, and Chamonix. The winners become the first SnowBrains Trips, announced in early September. Waitlists open in late September. The first trips run this winter.
And yes, there’s a prize. Everyone who completes the survey is entered to win a Leki prize package: Wyldbird Vario poles and Tyton Pro TR gloves. More prizes are being added before the survey closes, and every entry automatically counts for all of them.

The 12 destinations on the ballot: Revelstoke, Whistler, Jackson Hole, Palisades Tahoe, Banff-Lake Louise, Vail, Park City, Zermatt, the Dolomites, St. Anton, Chamonix, and Vermont/Quebec. Plus questions about timing, budget, and trip style, and a Japan option for the dreamers.
One honest note: these trips only run when enough of you commit. That’s by design. We’d rather run two trips that people talk about for years than five trips that are fine. So every survey response genuinely counts, and when the waitlists open, the destinations that fill first are the ones that go. If you want your mountain to win, vote for it and tell your ski partners to do the same.
