According to KBZK, some areas in Montana are experiencing the snowiest winter on record for this time of year. As of February 6th, Montana State University and Lewistown have received more snowfall than they ever have before in this time period. Considering some of the other snow conditions in the West, it’s truly remarkable. In 1996-97, Montana State University’s season total snowfall was 158.5″, which is the highest on record. In reality, it’s a serious possibility that they could surpass that number this winter as there’s plenty of time left.
