As winter loosens its grip on the Cascades, Mt. Bachelor (just outside of Bend, Oregon) once again welcomed a vibrant tribe of nomadic souls and slope enthusiasts for one of the Pacific Northwest’s most anticipated gatherings โ the RendezVan Festival.
More than just a festival, RendezVan is a celebration of the adventurous van-life spirit. RendezVan blends mountain culture with music, food, and connection beneath the sunny Central Oregon sky. For four days, Mt. Bachelorโs West Village base area transformed into a buzzing village of Sprinter vans, camper conversions, vintage rigs, and curious newcomers. All were united by a shared love for snow, freedom, and the special community fostered at Mt. Bachelor. In keeping with the celebration, riders were able to ride the Pine Marten Express from open until 7:00 P.M. on both Friday and Saturday.
By day, attendees ripped spring corn laps and park sessions; by night, theyย gathered around lawn chairs and propane fire pits to celebrate. Mt. Bachelor turns up the aprรจs scene a notch with free live music (including an impressive setlist), craft beer gardens, and food trucks dishing out everything from Korean to Southern cuisine. Evening headliners and daytime DJs kept the vibes flowing, while yard games, gear demos, and giveaways provided plenty of off-slope entertainment.
RendezVan is free to attend and open to anyone, whether rolling up in a tricked-out camper or swinging by in your Subaru. The festival is inclusive, inviting friends, family, and doggos to join. Mt. Bachelor offers designated van parking and overnight camping zones, with reservations required encouraged due to growing popularity. Perhaps not surprisingly, the festival sold out this year!
Spring sunshine, great snow, good peopleโRendezVan 2025 was an unbelievable event at Mt. Bachelor. So, for 2026, prepare yourself to pack the van, grab your shades, and post up for one of the most iconic mountain festivals on the West Coast.
In other news: ski season lives long as Mt. Bachelor. With a massive base and plenty of sunny days in the forecast, riders from around the world frequent Mt. Bachelor to enjoy a ski season that lasts into late May.
