On Saturday February 8th Rambo Party Productions is hosting “SQUALLYWOOD: The Party.”  All the proceeds from this grassroots fundraiser will go directly to Incorporate Olympic Valley (IOV), an organization seeking to preserve and protect the spirit of our community through incorporation as a means to greater self determination.  IOV is $33,000 away from their goal and hopefully this will be the party will help the cause.

This family-friendly event at the Squaw Valley Stables is a local effort to preserve the integrity of Squaw Valley. There will be live music, a silent auction, raffle as well as food and beverage concessions!  Starting at sundown, patrons are encouraged to dress warmly as their favorite ski line and come out to support valley that we all love so much!

“As a member of the skiing community of Lake Tahoe we wanted to offer you the opportunity to supporting this grassroots movement by donating to the silent auction.” Said Rusty Reams and Ryan Rambo, event promoters “We believe that if the community steps forward and respectively donates to the valley that has given us all so much that Incorporate Olympic Valley will be able to achieve the financial goal that would allow us to preserve the quality and integrity of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.”

  1. there are people living in the valley to whom 50K is chump change. why aren’t they stepping up? grass roots seems to be the middle class (and upper middle) skiers. hope you succeed in your goals. I can’t stand around in the cold or I’d be there.
