  1. What is the record number of days of lift closures and over hyping the conditions. Cannot recall a year like this. If you don’t want to operate a ski resort please moveon.org.

    1. There are LOTS AND LOTS of people making tons of money off of this. Don’t ruin their party.
On the other side of it, we have LOTS AND LOTS of people feeling very “virtuous” because they want something done about this terrible problem caused by greedy, selfish people.
What’s hilarious is that many of these virtuous people are skiers. Just like me they take extremely CO2 intensive trips, yes it’s healthy, but so are pushups and sit ups in the basement.
It you really understand this whole thing, it is one of the craziest ugliest parts of humanism. Yes, even uglier than Trump!
This is a great site. And like Powder mag and Outside and all the other good sources of info, I really wish I didn’t have to put up with all the ridiculous propoganda while going through my skiing and outdoor news. Even though I know it’s mainstream though and “everybody knows”. I know I know, it feels good to be a “virtuous person”, who want to Save The Planet. And I know, I know, how could all those “good people” be wrong and mischevious/lying?
P.S. Snow Cover data suggests that North America snow cover is actually increasing And US winters are getting colder (over past 20 yrs)
