Squaw Valley, CA finally had a true powder day after 56-days without significant snowfall.

The last significant snowfall was on Jan. 17th, 2020.

Today was very fun.

It was snowing like crazy today and getting better with each run.

Far East chair was great.

KT-22 was very good in spots by 3pm.

It was a bit dusty on crusty, as we all expected, but the lower angle terrain started to get real fun by about 1pm.

Red Dog trees down low were excellent until you got too low and it was mostly just the new snow on corrugated forest floor.

We had a blast today.

It was so nice to have the new snow and a big storm blowing in your face today.

We’re sad to see Squaw go especially since we worry that they may be closed for the season…

We hope not.

We hope they can reopen soon.
