Squaw Valley, CA Fire Up Snow Guns for First Time this Fall | 2 Weeks Earlier than Last Year

Taking advantage of the cold front that’s been delivering record-low daily temperatures across the west, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, CA couldn’t let those Colorado resorts have all the fun, so they fired up their own snow guns for the first time this fall.

With temps dipping into the low 20s last night, we fired up the snow guns for the first time this Fall! Last night our teams made snow & tested guns on Red Dog, Squaw Creek, Mountain Run, Gold Coast & Kangaroo.

Last year they didn’t start the guns until 2nd November, so we’re a good 2-weeks ahead of then. WInter’s coming people, winter is coming…
