Steamboat is coming together to support the people who keep the mountain safe. The Steamboat Ski Patrol Union is hosting its First Chair Fundraiser on Saturday, November 29, at Old Town Pub (OTP), and the whole night is built around good music, great prizes, and raising money for the patrol community.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and The Flattops will take the stage soon after. Tickets are $20 and include four raffle entries right out of the gate. Additional raffle tickets are $5 each, or you can grab 25 for $100 if you want to go big. The event is adults only, so the organizers are encouraging everyone to leave the kids at home and come out for a proper party.
The fundraiser is packed with ways to get involved. There will be a full raffle along with a silent auction featuring items from Big Agnes, Avy Savvy, CalTopo, J Skis, AAI, and more. Every dollar raised goes straight to the Steamboat Ski Patrol Union, United Mountain Workers CWA Local 7781, and a fund set up to support the broader patrol community. It is a chance to give back to the crew that works long days in tough conditions to keep the mountain running smoothly.
If you want to join in, tickets are available now on OTP’s website. It is a simple way to support the Steamboat Ski Patrol Union while enjoying a night out with friends, live music, and a few chances to win something great.
