A Mexican college student survived an 80-foot fall after slipping from her sixth-floor balcony while attempting an extreme yoga pose.

Health and nutrition student Alexa Terrazas, 23, was doing the pose over the edge of her balcony when she slipped and landed on the driveway of her building in the northeastern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon on Saturday. The above image shows Terrazas hanging upside down in front of the balcony while supporting the entire weight of her body on the rail moments before she fell.

Terraza was rushed to a local hospital for reconstructive surgery that lasted 11 hours. Doctors fear that she may not be able to walk for three years as her knees and ankles had to be reconstructed. She also reportedly broke 110 bones in the horrific fall, with fractures to both of her legs and arms, as well as her hips and head. She is still in critical condition.

Neighbors have said they were used to seeing Terrazas perform the dangerous stunt from her balcony’s edge.

Family members took to social media to seek blood donations and prayers for the injured woman.
