Sugar Bowl Resort, CA, to Extend Season by 2 Weeks After Receiving Over 41 Feet of Snow So Far This Season

NORDEN, Calif. (March 1, 2023) – Sugar Bowl Resort is digging out after a blizzard event the past several days. The resort reported receiving a whopping  107 inches in the past seven days after getting a total of 135 inches of snow in February. Season-to-date, 497 inches (over 41 feet) has fallen, making this the resort’s snowiest season since 2019.

Limited lifts and terrain are expected to be open later today as the resort continues to dig out and perform snow safety work. The resort recently announced it will extend its ski season by two weeks, remaining open through April 23.

More snow is expected to fall at Sugar Bowl in the coming week. Bring it on!
