In celebration of the “home team” San Francisco 49ers trip to Super Bowl LIV, Sugar Bowl Resort will offer skiers and riders the ability to pre-purchase discounted lift tickets, lessons, performance ski and snowboard rentals and lodging valid on Sunday, February 2, 2020. In addition to these specials, the resort will host a Super Bowl party in the Judah Lodge with the game on several high definition TVs, food and drink specials, raffles each quarter and more.

“The San Francisco 49ers are one of our ‘home teams,’ and we’re excited they’re playing in the big game this year,” said Jon Slaughter, executive director of sales and marketing at Sugar Bowl Resort. “Super Bowl Sunday has always been a great day to get on the mountain, and this year is even more special since the Niners are playing for the championship. To cheer on San Francisco, we’re throwing a big party and offering Niner-inspired deals for those who want to hit the slopes prior to kick-off!”

On Super Bowl Sunday, Sugar Bowl Resort will offer:

  • $49 lift tickets that must be purchased online at least two days ahead (subject to sell out)
  • $49 performance ski or snowboard rentals (no reservation required)
  • $49 demo skis in the Village Retail shop
  • $99 adult group lesson packages (ages 13+) when booked in advance over the phone by calling (530) 426-9000 x5022.
  • $149 slopeside rooms at the Sugar Bowl Hotel; watch the game in the Belt Room Bar and wake up the next day just steps from the slopes
  • Random giveaways will be awarded on the mountain to those wearing Niners jerseys

At the Judah Lodge Super Bowl party, food and drink specials will include $2.99 happy hour beers throughout the game, eight wings with dipping sauce for $8.49, and jumbo pizza slices for $4.49. Raffle prizes will be awarded at the end of each quarter including a free season pass at the end of the game.

Mid-winter snow conditions exist at Sugar Bowl, with the entire mountain open and all lifts scheduled daily as weather and conditions permit. The resort has received nine inches of snow in the past seven days, and season-to-date, Sugar Bowl has received 15.5 feet of snow at the summit, and over 13 feet at its base.
