Each season, Swedish sunglasses brand CHPO creates a new collection where they donate 100% of the profits to a non-profit organization. The proceeds from this season’s FW17 range will go to Protect Our Winters, the group of professional athletes and industry brands that are committed to leading the way for positive climate change.

From the official press release:

Every season CHPO does a new collaboration where they donate 100% of the profits. This season they are collaborating with the organization Protect Our Winters, a passionate crew of professional athletes and industry brands mobilizing the outdoor sports community to lead the charge towards positive climate action. The watch comes with a black vegan leather strap and a silver dial, which also features POW’s signature snowflake logo.

“Living in Sweden we have seen how our winters are getting shorter and shorter, and a white Christmas is nothing more than a childhood memory. Today our average winter is between five to six months. If we continue to live our lives as we do today, it will be no more than one to two months by the end of this century. We can, however, turn this around!” says Viktor Telégin, CEO at CHPO.

The other part of the new collection features warm and darker colors, matching the season with gold and rose gold combined with black and brown. The collection has been inspired by CHPO Brand’s Scandinavian heritage and roots in skateboarding, music, and art. The FW17 collection was released in September with a price range between €55-€100.
