Dachstein Glacier, Austria, Is ‘Unsafe’ Due to This Summer’s Extreme Heat and Won’t Open at All 22/23 Dachstein Gletscherbahn Ramsau, the company operating the lifts on the Dachstein Glacier, announced on September 15 that the glacier would not open for skiing or boarding this ski season.
