The Definition of Smooth: Nimbus Independent’s “Coordinates”

The guys from Nimbus are into one thing and one thing only: smoothness. The gnarliest lines on Earth? You can have ’em. If it ain’t smooth, they ain’t into it. Theirs is a refreshing look into how a mountain can be ridden. These guys like deep powder, pillows, big airs and smooth transitions. Imagine if you could travel the world in search of these four things. Not a bad life. Chris Benchetler, Eric Pollard, and Pep Fujas just did exactly that and “Coordinates” is what they have to show for it. The movie was shot entirely on GoPo cameras, which is also impressive. […]

VIDEO: Eric Pollard Getting Tubed and Spat Out in Alaska

The beginning of this video is fun to watch. Then, you see the POV angle in the end. Wow. That’s some of the most ideal ski terrain we’ve seen. Spines, pillows, nobs, little chutes, and all of it steep. It’s a dream line. Eric make a mistake in the end and lets his sluff catch up to him. 20-Seconds of Eric Pollard Ripping & Flipping

Eric Pollard is best known for unique, tricky moves in backcountry powder.  This quick clip shows that the guy can throw down on Alaska style lines and still bring his trick-heavy style along with him.
