The “Severe” storm that was supposed to clobber Tahoe last night is widely being considered a dud. The main issue was that the wind shifted to coming from the South, which didn’t give it the power to get over the Pacific Crest and into the Tahoe Basin. West of the crest did very well with 12-16 inches being reported. The East side of the Tahoe Basin did poorly with only 3-5 inches being reported.
