Up to 12″ of Snow for Mammoth, CA Today & Tomorrow Mammoth ski resort is open and expecting 4-12 inches of snow today and tomorrow. Mammoth plans on closing on Sunday… unless they get enough snow out of this storm to stay open another week. NOAA has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for today and tomorrow with up to a foot of new snow forecast for the Pacific Crest. Mammoth just might close the season on a couple of powder days.
