Treble Cone, NZ Conditions Report: Tussock Ski Season Spring skiing is at it’s finest right now at Treble Cone. Snow is softening usually by about 10.30 – 11.00 in the morning and remains in good shape all day. Conditions are especially good for Tussock skiing! For those unfamiliar with tussock is it a native New Zealand grass that grows in larger clumps in the high alpine. For those looking for an adventure it’s awesome fun to ski and/or jump over (and won’t damage your skis). Conditions Report Marian Krogh | September 21, 2015 0 Comments
