Supporting Access, Equity, and Community
Founded with a mission to improve human-powered backcountry access, Tahoe Backcountry Alliance has expanded its work over the years to include equity-focused projects throughout the Lake Tahoe region. The organization collaborates with partners such as the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California, the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, and libraries across El Dorado, Placer, and Nevada counties.
TBA’s projects range from trail and access improvements to programs designed to reduce barriers to outdoor participation for underrepresented communities. Proceeds from the sweepstakes will help fund these ongoing efforts as the organization enters its second decade.
