Report from December 31, 2021

Not every day can be magical…

But there was still some magic out there.

Good friends, intricate rime ice, complex route finding, and powerful teamwork.

The snow wasn’t good, the sunrise never happened, visibility was horrid, the hike was a slog, and the wind was brutal…

Despite all that, the only things we can remember are good conversations & big smiles with great friends on the last day of the year.

We are extremely grateful for friends and wild places.

Bring on 2022!!
