Most of the week forecasters have been speaking of 3-6” tops with this Sunday Night storm. Now, there is talk of up to 6-9” above 8,000 feet. A bit more moisture is now forecasted to come through Tahoe and give us a shot at what very well could be our last powder day. But, as we know, every time we say that, one more good storm comes thru and surprises us. Which is a good reason to say it. Regardless, you want to get out skiing/riding early tomorrow morning.
“You may want to plan for taking a few turns Monday morning just in case this is the last decent powder morning of the season.” – Brian Allegretto/OpenSnow.com

In case you were wondering… It’s raining right now at Squaw and it ain’t pretty, but it will change to snow tonight.
We’re looking forward to a good day tomorrow. A little soft snow up on Granite Chief tomorrow morning could be just what the doctor ordered for all us snow-sick skiers and riders. Make no mistake, you want to be at Squaw or any Tahoe ski resort early tomorrow.
