Taos, NM to EXTEND Season

This is very cool news.  In a season where many Westerdn ski resorts are announcing early closings, Taos is extending their season an extra week.

It’s been a good season at Taos with 260 inches of snow so far.  Taos averages 305, so this isn’t too far off the mark.

Taos was scheduled to close on April 5th, and they will close down for 4 days before reopening on April 10th -12th to give skiers and riders one last spring skiing weekend.

Lift tickets will be discounted to $49 that final weekend and if you have a season pass to another ski resort you’ll only pay $40.

Taos got a huge storm cycle in February that dropped 77-inches of snow in 12 days. 

Taos also put in the Kachina Peak Chair this year that takes skiers and riders to the top of 12,450-foot Kachina peak that hold phenomenal freeride terrain.

We have Taos ranked as one of the Top 10 Ski Resorts in North America.
