From March 21-24, 2023, Freeride athletes from far and wide will descend on Taos Ski Valley, NM, to test themselves against the resort’s famed steeps, chasing the top podium spot and trying to get one step closer to making the Freeride World Tour.
Along with the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association and the Freeride World Tour, Taos Ski Valley will host a 3* Freeride Competition and one of the three 4* Championship Series stops. The resort will also host a 1-day Master Division.
The 3* Taos Freeride Competition will be held as a 1-day competition on March 21, 2023. Weather day is scheduled for March 22, 2023.
The 4* Championship Competition will be held on March 23, 2023. This premiere big-mountain event is New Mexico’s largest and most prestigious ski and snowboard competition. Weather day is scheduled for March 24, 2023.
The Master Division will be held on March 21, 2023.
With two feet of fresh powder last week and more on the way, you won’t want to miss the action! You can watch the competition from the top of Lift 8. However, if you cannot make it in person, you are in luck, as all events are live-streamed.
