Winter is underway at Taos Ski Valley, NM. The world-class ski area known for its limitless steep terrain and southwestern atmosphere started lifts turning yesterday after recent significant natural snowfall.
Guests were thankful for the three inches of fresh snow that fell during the day and the 16″ the previous week. Taos Ski Valley currently has a 20″ base.
Lift 1 and Pioneer were turning offering access to Bambi Glade, High Five, Pioneer Beginner’s Area, Whitefeather, Whitefeather Bowl, Powderhorn, Powderhorn Gully, Upper Powderhorn,and Maxie’s Terrain park.
With more snow forecast over the next seven days, Taos Ski Valley has started 2022/23 with a bang!
