Report from February 26, 2021

Lots more walking around the Tetons today.

Reports in the morning talked of 4″.

It was a lot deeper than that out there.

We skied 2 runs in great snow and called it a day.

The snow was terrific today.

It just won’t stop here…

February has been the snowiest on record in the Tetons and it’s not over yet.

It started really snowing hard in the afternoon today and there’s more forecast tonight.

We did see some instability out there today in the form of small avalanches that we ski cut on steeper slopes that broke about 5″ deep, 15′ wide and ran about 40′.
