Report from February 14, 2021

We went walking around in the Tetons again yesterday on the search for leftovers.

We found some good ones.

The snow was good.

Real good.

Ben showed us a bunch of fun little airs that we had a blast on.

I got in one long line with a fun air that really made my day.

It was my favorite line of the week.

We’re tired and happy and very stoked for the 6-12″ storm that is forecast to hit tomorrow.

* WHAT…Snow. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Locally higher snow amounts on some of the peaks. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph on the peaks.

– NOAA, Riverton WY, 2/14/21

We didn’t see any signs of instability out there yesterday.

Ski cuts didn’t produce anything yesterday for us.

Let’s all be extra careful out there as 3 people died in avalanches yesterday in the USA.
