Unrestricted, transferable pass offers access to 36 downhill and cross-country ski areas in California and Nevada.

The coveted Ski California Gold Pass, renowned for its flexibility and exclusivity, is now available for the 2025-26 season. It offers unrestricted, transferable access to 36 premier downhill and cross-country ski areas across California and Nevada. The pass, priced at $4,125, is offered in limited quantities and typically sells out quickly.

Unlike traditional season passes, the Gold Pass is fully transferable, allowing holders to share access with friends, family, or colleagues throughout the winter. There are no blackout dates, and direct lift access is available at most participating resorts, streamlining the experience for skiers and snowboarders who value spontaneity and variety.

The pass covers various resorts, including iconic destinations such as Mammoth, Palisades Tahoe, Northstar, Heavenly, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and several cross-country areas. Gold Pass holders can explore 37,000 acres of skiable terrain, 45,000 vertical feet, and 350 miles of cross-country trails.

โ€œWith no blackout dates and direct lift access at most resorts, the Gold Pass makes it easy to explore all that our member resorts have to offer. That includes 36 downhill and XC areas, 37,000 acres of skiable terrain, 45,000 vertical feet, and 350 miles of XC trails. This is the ultimate ski pass for passionate skiers and riders,โ€ said John Rice, Ski California president.

The Gold Passโ€™s flexibility has made it a favorite among avid skiers, riders, and organizations purchasing passes as employee perks. Its shareable nature and unrestricted access set it apart in a crowded season pass market, where most products are non-transferable and subject to blackout periods.

From 2025-26 Gold Pass sales, Ski California will donate $50 to the High Fives Foundation, a California non-profit foundation focused on education and preventing life-changing injuries in outdoor sports.

Given the limited supply and high demand, those interested in securing a Gold Pass for the upcoming season are encouraged to act quickly. More information and purchasing options are available at skicalifornia.org/gold-pass.
