It’s no secret that the Lake Tahoe area creates some of the finest adventure sports athletes out there thanks to plentiful snow, killer granite slabs, beautiful loam, and soaring skies all with the backdrop of a stunning lake! But what many do not know is its also home to one of the raddest film festivals celebrating many of these Tahoe locals amongst other big names in the industry.
The Tahoe Adventure Film Festival (TAFF) is a unique way to experience many great moments in extreme sports from this year. Instead of showcasing traditional feature length films, TAFF organizers comb through numerous submissions in order to select a handful of the best films from around the Action Sports World and then request a 10-12 minute segment from each of those filmmakers that really display the best of what that individual was trying to capture or portray in their sport.

Not only will you get to see some of the best and most action packed films out there, but in true Tahoe fashion you’ll get to party like a rockstar and win big swag from local sponsors. This year TAFF has partnered with the Sierra Avalanche Center when hosting the raffle with prizes which include heli-skiing trips, seasons passes, and tons of gear and goodies to show off to your homies.
