As we mentioned earlier, there will be tons on new terrain opening for the weekend, which is still open to the public for riding.  As of today, Killington has two lifts running, but they’re planning to have a total of five running by then.  The snowmakers are working hard to open several more runs and build a deeper base than the current one at 12″.  The trails will almost exclusively feature blue and black rated trails, along with the Reason terrain park.  The rope tow and beginner learning area will be open as well.

So if you’re looking to get out, ditch the post Thanksgiving Day shopping craziness, and have an enjoyable time, head on over to the FIS Ski World Cup Tour hosted at Killington.  Between watching world-class athletes compete, free music and entertainment, appetizing food, new terrain to ride and a lively party scene, you’re destined to have a good time.
