Andrew Gauthier announced on the US Freeski Team’s website this morning the complete list of athletes who will be skiing for the American Flag this upcoming season. Many athletes will be returning for another season, including big names like Maggie Voisin and David Wise. Several new skiers will also join the team this year after being recruited from all over the country. Voisin and Wise made the announcements today @usfreeskiteam on Instagram.
One athlete, fellow Pennsylvania native, Jenna Riccomini, pictured above will be joining the US Freeski Slopestyle Rookie team, just one year after she competed in Lausanne, Switzerland at the Junior Olympics this past January. Riccomini, who had only previously competed in one other international event brought home 8th overall in her Olympic Slopestyle debut.
In the midst of an un-imaginable pandemic that cut this season way short, we can look forward to cheering on many familiar faces as well as their new scholars next winter.  It’s always fun to dream about what new “steez” we can expect coming from yet another great class of skiers.
