A day out with Sam & Louis at The Remarkables on August 9th, 2016

words and video by Louis Charnaud

We decided a few days ago to actually leave Treble Cone and venture out to new terrain to see if there was anything better out there than the NZ mecca for skiing (Treble Cone). We have not had any precip for around a week now so we thought it was worth the journey to find something new for us.

Here is a fun little POV edit of Sam Allen and I skiing around at the remarks in the shadow basin. We spent the day hiking and looking for cool stuff to jump off in preparation for the North Face Frontier comp which is two weeks from now!

We couldn’t get too sendy as the snow was hardpacked, so it was super choppy and icy in places! however, we managed to find a few good spots of soft snow!

We finished the day off with a quick lap in the park which ended in me nailing myself going over a roller at mach 10.

Nothing too serious just a quick edit! Enjoy!
