Vermont, in particular, got dumped on, with Jay Peak leading the charge and several other resorts not far behind. Jay Peak features sixth in the snowiest resorts in North America, beating out all Colorado, California, and most western ski areas.
Here are the snowiest East Coast resorts that have stood out for their remarkable totals this season.
#9 Mont Tremblant, Quebec – 238″
Mont Tremblant received 238 inches of snow, delivering strong conditions across its four faces and supporting a long, vibrant ski season.

#8 Val-d’Irene, Quebec – 243″
Val-dโIrene saw 243 inches of snow, making it one of Quebecโs snowiest resorts and ensuring reliable coverage from early season through spring.

#7 Massif du Sud, Quebec – 248″
Massif du Sud recorded 248 inches of snowfall this season, which is above average and provided consistently deep conditions for skiers throughout the winter.

#6 Killington, VT – 252″
Theย โBeast of the East,โ Killington finished with 252 inches. Known for its long season and robust snowmaking, Killingtonโs natural snowfall this year significantly boosted its spring skiing longevity.
#5 Sugarbush, VT – 281″
Sugarbush continued its strong reputation for reliable snow, ending the season with 281 inches. The resortโs varied terrain and modern lift infrastructure made it a top destination for powder seekers.
#4 Stowe, VT – 357″
Stowe reported 357 inches of snowfall. The resort maintained excellent conditions throughout the winter, thanks to a series of late-winter storms and consistent snow coverage that extended operations into late April.

#3 Smugglersโ Notch, VT – 366″
Smugglersโ Notch, known for its family-friendly terrain and classic New England vibe, recorded 366 inches. Significantly above its average, the total represents an exceptional season for the resort, keeping its legendary glades and steeps well covered.
#2 Bolton Valley, VT – 375″
Bolton Valley enjoyed a banner season, recording 375 inches of snow. The resortโs high elevation and favorable microclimate have allowed it to surpass its historical average, offering deep powder days well into spring.
#1 Jay Peak, VT – 470″
Jay Peak has cemented its reputation as the snowiest resort in the East, recording 470 inches of snowfall as of mid-April. This marks the second-highest total in the resortโs history, just shy of the 491-inch record set in 2016-17. The mountainโs consistent exposure to lake-effect and coastal storms has delivered nearly 40 feet of snow, drawing skiers from across the region and providing some of the best conditions in the country, even rivaling totals out West.
