Australia’s premier alpine resort Thredbo is bringing back its annual LGBTQIA+ festival, Rainbow Mountain. The three day event will celebrate diversity, inclusivity, visibility, community and love over three pride-filled days.

From August 10 – 12, 2023, Thredbo has partnered with Aspen Snowmass, Cloud Nine, Delta Airlines and Double Rainbouu to transform the mountain into a queer winter wonderland for all LGBTQIA+ guests and allies. Thredbo Events & Partnerships Manager Damian Goninan said that he is thrilled that the unique festival atmosphere of Rainbow Mountain will take over Thredbo again this winter.

“Thredbo truly is a winter playground for everyone. We’ve planned an incredible schedule of events for this year’s Rainbow Mountain and we can’t wait for the community to come together and celebrate here.”
