El Nino has been good to California this winter: ย
- California’s current statewide snowpack is at 87% of average to date. ย
- Some ski resorts are reporting above average annual snowfall totals this year already. ย
- Shasta, Folsom, and Oroville reservoirs and above historical averages to date and Lake Tahoe is only 1″ below its natural rim and water experts are forecasting it to rise 16-18″ more this spring/early summer.

- Sugar Bowl = 557″
- Boreal = 506″
- Squaw Valley = 462″
- Sierra at Tahoe = 456″
- Northstar = 444″
- Kirkwood = 435″
- Mammoth = 342″
