We all have our favorite ski hill, that we rate 5-stars, our happy place, the mountain we know like the back of our hand and would fight (almost) to the death to defend against naysayers. Podium.com has analyzed thousands of online reviews from more than 350 resorts to settle, impartially,  which resort really is the best in the country.

To qualify, resorts had to be open for the 2018-2019 season, be available to the public, and have more than 500 online reviews from Facebook, Google, and other top review sites. Why 500 reviews? After compiling all the data, they removed the bottom quartile to account for outliers with insufficient data, giving the best indicator of America’s favorite resorts.

In total, the list had an average star rating of 4.664 and an average of 1,456 reviews…
